We are passionate about fresh coffee.

How was this passion born?  Having first experiencing stovetop coffee, we started to appreciate coffee this way, throwing away any traces of instant coffee.  We began our own journey discovering coffee and it's wonderful flavours.  A visit to a local market had us discover a fresh coffee roaster.  A taste test was on offer.  We couldn't believe the aroma and complexity of the drink.  That led to us purchasing a domestic espresso machine.  A few years passed and experience with learning that quality espresso is only as good as the grinder, we acquired a conical coffee grinder. Few more years, it was time for another upgrade. The journey continues and we met some people who push the boundary even further, learning the roasting process and everything that goes into roasting the bean to obtain the very best the bean has to offer.

Why are we in this business? We love coffee, we love the process and most assuredly love the end result.

What we sell is what we drink ourselves. Our passion is 100% quality Arabica coffee beans, roasted perfectly to enhance the quality and flavours that are distinct to their region.  Our blends are built using these same high quality selected single origin coffee beans that you can be purchase here, building on great foundations of very high quality Arabica coffee beans. We do not roast our beans to a very dark colour (black in some cases) as this destroys the amazing flavours and aromas, which is after all, an important ingredient to an amazing coffee. We believe this process is critical to delivering an amazing cup whether it be a straight espresso or plunger.
